4th International Conference on Tobacco Control

Call for Abstracts and Symposia proposals is extended until
28 January 2019

All conference abstracts will be published online and available for download in html and pdf format within a special supplement of Tobacco Prevention & Cessation Journal. Each abstract receives a unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) and hence is individually citable, indexed and downloadable in full text. All authors retain full copyright of their abstract under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Conference Highlights
ASH workshop: Tobacco and Human Rights
Within the programme of the ENSP-SRP International Conference on Tobacco Control 2019, Action on Smoking & Health (US) will host a Workshop dedicated to the topic of Tobacco and Human Rights.
The goal of the workshop is to increase the capacity of tobacco control advocates from the European Region on how to use human rights arguments and human rights treaties to further their tobacco control goals.

Participants will be trained on how to incorporate human rights approaches into their long-term strategy and program of work, build collaborations with human rights experts, and engage directly with their national governments and regional and global Human Rights Bodies.

World Trade Center Bucharest is one of the biggest conference venues in Bucharest, situated in an excellent location with a view over the Herastrau Park. Moreover, it is conveniently located between the International Airport Otopeni and the center of the city.

Bucharest - Peles Castle Sinaia - Brasov city - Dracula's Castle Bran - Bucharest
Conference participants interested in exploring Romania will have a chance to join a tour during the weekend following the Conference. The tour will be organised by a travel agency on 30-31 March 2019. Please indicate your interest during registration and more details will follow.
