On the 26th of March, the Global Forum on Human Rights and a Tobacco-Free World will take place in Bucharest, Romania, at Cotroceni Palace. This unique and historic event will bring together global leaders in human rights and public health to discuss ways to advance worldwide efforts to combat the tobacco epidemic.
The Forum is convened under the auspices of the Presidential Administration of Romania and co-sponsored by Action on Smoking and Health and the European Network for Smoking and Tobacco Prevention. Organisers expect to have the participation of leaders in public health and human rights from national, intergovernmental, academic and non-governmental organisations. |
